be joyful christmas card – 2 cards from one pattern paper SSS november kit #2 2014

Hello all,
Continuing with my Christmas card series, I went with the simplest thing that can possibly work. And that means using pattern paper. Usually when you get a 6×6 pad, like this Lawn Fawn set, there are some patterns that are a scene already. It would be a shame to cut them up, better to use them as your card scene.

Since I had a 6×6 paper, i decided i can make 2 cards, and to go with more skinny ones. So one is 3,5 inch by 5,5 and the other one 3 inch by 5,5. I quite like skinny cards. And this way i did not have to cut down the bunny in the middle.

I cut some strips of vellum paper, and stamped my sentiment with versamark ink, them embossed with super fine gold powder.

I embellished my card with some snowflakes die cut from glitter paper.
