Halloween cards #4 gate fold card potion bottle closet using distress inks

Hello all,
In today’s video I make a simple gate fold card. This card tells the story of a closet full of potions.
I had the silhouette cut files so I decided to cut a bunch of these potion bottles and ink them up with some distress inks.

I think that gate folds are the easiest card folds and the results are stunning. A gate fold card would also tell the perfect story because you basically have 2 sides to embellish, so i could make the outside of the closet and when you open it you see the potions on the inside.

I decorated the outside panels by dry embossing  with a spider web cuttle bug folder. This was release quite some time ago, and i still use it always for my Halloween cards. I made the embossed side stand out by using a golden glitz Delicata ink pad and swipe it across.

For the inside panels, i used a sponge dauber and some distress inks to make the edges stand out.

For the potions bottles i used 3 distress inks and blended the colors to make some fun effects.

For reference the dimensions for a gate fold are:
Length: 11 inch
Width: 4 and 1/2 inch
Score at 2 and 3/4 on each side.
Flap panels 4 times 2 and 1/2  BY 4 inch
Big inside panel: 1 time 4 inch by 5 and 1/4
