gate fold card – telling a story of adventures under the sea
Hello all,
I was having too much fun with the clip arts from the underwater set that we sell in our Etsy store.
So I decided to tell a story. A beautiful tale of adventure and courage , under the beautiful sea.
But all stories start with the sky and the waves.
As a normal size card would not fit all i wanted to put there, i decided to do a gate fold card. In my opinion this type of card has enough space for a big story.
The dimensions for the gate fold card:
Base card: 4 1/4 by 11 inch
Score at 2 and 3/4 on each side
side panels: 4 times 4 inch by 2 1/2
middle panel : 5 1/4 by 4 inch
I wanted also to use my new best friend die, the edge wave die from clearly besotted. I decided to order from their English site, just because it will arrive from inside Europe so i did not have to worry about taxes. The order arrived really fast and i am super excited to try my new goodies.
