watercolor for cardmakers day #2 – soft watercolor wash background

This is a simple card, but with an unusual shape, i used some label dies to cut my base card, but also the front panel.

For the main background, i used different shaded of distress markers, all pastels. I scribbled lines of color and then sprayed water, in large quantities. I guided all the excess water and color to the side of my panel, and blotted it out with some paper towels. the result is a really soft background.
