Continuing with the simple cards trend, I did this second card. This features a Nellie Snellen stamp- Don and Daisy. This time I used watercolor paper to stamp on, and normal white card stock for the base card.
Stamping the sentiment with Versafine ink proved to be a problem. First because i do not like the coverage, and it spreads on watercolor paper. Secondly, if you touch it before it dyes, it will create stains.
For the water coloring I used the stamping block technique, where i scribbled some ink, and then piked it up with my brush. This helps for bigger areas that you need to cover.
As a divider i sued some polka dot ribbon, i piked up at a sale. I really love that yellow(well it is my favorite color !)
