Halloween series #6 2013 – spooky potions case
Hello everyone,
These 2 cards i made are using the same digital images, but ended up looking quite different.
All the elements are from our Halloween digital sets. And i have traced them and cut with my silhouette digital cutter.
What i was impressed by is the high level of detail i got out of these clip arts even if i printed them smaller then 1 centimeter. I refer to the potion bottles. Have a look for yourself on this first card.
So while i left my silhouette do the heavy lifting, i embossed a piece of vellum with a wood grain embossing folder. What i noticed is that the vellum really tears it is too thin for that heavy embossing. So on my other card i used just some normal background paper, again from a digital set.
On one of the cards i use one closet, in black, and put in the potions, it stands on a candy border, that is in our Halloween candy set. the sentiment i cut with my silhouette and adhered it to a free hand cut banner.
The littel ghosts are so cute peeking from behind that closet and i added glitter glue in lace of their eyes.
The second card i had the little ghost say BOO. Too cute.
This card sits on top of a row of skull candy. Add some sparkle with glitter glue and glossy accents.

October 29, 2013The first one!
Though, if I have to be more specific: I like the overall look of the first one, but I like the cupboard in the second one more 🙂 So, just switch cupboards…
