Halloween series #6 2013 – potion bottles

Hello everyone,
Today I want to share with you a beautiful card i made this week end. i just really wanted to use some potion bottles i cut with my silhouette and some nice labels, this labels i first printed then cut them out. So this card is a normal 5 1.5 X 4 1.4 inch base., in black with some shimmer.

The inner panel i cut approx 0.8 inch on each side. This gives the wide border across.

Besides the spider background, in green, that i printed from the digital pattern pack, i tore some left over papers from a once upon a time paper set and layered them on  the bottom. For the bottles i used some 3 colors distress ink, and made them nice and spooky. Adhered the labels on top. As extra embellishments i had a spider web, some bats and a spooky branch. The sentiment is from a hero arts happy Halloween set. And embossed in white on some vellum. For that tag to stand out i put some orange card stock behind it and sandwiched the nice purple ribbon in between.

Add some glitter and glossy accents and the card was finished. It is not a hard card, and those bottles you can cut by hand if you need to. As an alternative to a silhouette machine you can use a cuttlebug and some dies.

I want to participate in the following challenges:
Simon says stamp Wednesday challenge – Halloween or halloween colors
cardmakinmamas – cmm75-trick-or-treat
