Halloween series #5 – family portrait
Hello everyone,
So this is card 5 in my Halloween series 2013. This card did not make it onto my video list but it is a un and easy thing to do.
I was thinking about the masks digital stamps that we have in our store. And a nice way to use them is to make a Halloween family portrait wall. For this you need some face images, some frames and backgrounds.
You can start with a really long card, mine was deep purple color and size 21cm by 10,5cm (in inch aprox: 8 1/4 inch by 4 1/8 inch). Because the card stock was purple and nothing would stand out against it, i decided to tone it down using vellum. I also embossed the vellum with a cuttlebug polka dot folder. On the folding side i used a scalloped punch to get the glitter edge to hand my picture frames on.
The frames i cut using my cuttlebug and some nestabilities dies. I decided to have different frames for different members of the family. The backgrounds are from a spider pattern i printed myself, from the Halloween patterns set, and the masks are from these digi images.
Some frames i raised with some foam dots and others i just glued with some liquid glue. The images i cut using my silhouette cutting machine, and the sentiment banner was free cut. The vellum is easy to glue on the back of those frames.
I want to participate with this card to the following challenges :
Simon Says Stamp – Halloween or Halloween colors
