As a window for the shaker card I used a piece of acetate cut smaller than my inner window, and for the behind the window pattern I’ve cut a piece of the colored stripes found in the rainbows pattern.
This next card reminds me of one of my favorite anime’s when I was younger, Sailor Moon.
In one of the story arcs, this heroine of beauty and justice was protecting people’s dreams. The bad guys were trying to steal the dreams mirrors from people. They were looking inside this mirror to find out if they had beautiful dreams or if Pegasus the dreams guardian was there.
This is my version of a dream mirror, where you can see all my dreams.
I started the base card with some white card stock, linen texture. The dimensions of the paper are A5 size, 21cm by 14.8 cm, and I scored the card in the middle at 10.5cm, using my Scor-pal . Next, I cut 2 windows out off red card stock, with an exacto knife. The window was 6 cm by 4 cm, and the frame was 8 cm by 6 cm.
I printed the dandelion digital pattern, and cut a piece slightly smaller than my base card, 9.5cm by 13.8 and mounted it on the base card, making sure I have a small white border all around. To create the upper part of the mirror I die cut a circle, with my Spell Binder circle dies and my Cuttlebug machine. After that, I embossed it with the Tim Holtz Swirls embossing folder.
